My company was sold, and ...Here's a case in point. My company was sold, and as a result, cuts were going to made, so I took it as time to get a new job. Thankfully, I got a new job, but with it, I won't have insurance for 45 days. I have to work 30 days (April 14) and then on the first of the next month (May 1), my insurance kicks in. <BR/><BR/>I was not fired, yet I have to go on COBRA at an incredibly high price. There is a crisis in health care. Why can't health care be run like 401K---you get to take it with it you when you change jobs.<BR/><BR/>But, let's make sure that wearing the American flag on the lapel remains a key issue for America in the 2008 election.<BR/><BR/>And, I have always believed that those who wear the pins are the real phonies.
