Snow job

White House spokesman Tony Snow says he'll leave his job before the end of President Bush's term because he needs to make more money.

"I'm not going to be able to go the distance ... primarily for financial reasons," Snow told a radio talk show host this week. "When my money runs out, then I've got to go."

His government salary: $168,000 per year.

That's $132,000 above the national average, Tony. How is it that you can't live on that?

Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with money. Snow's departure is just more proof that his cancer is progressing.

JB:
I assumed the same thing when I first heard this. But Snow made it clear that his cancer wasn't a factor in his decision. In fact, he just had his final treatment.
He said, clear as day, that his government salary is not sufficient and that he needs to return to the private sector so he can make more money.

The only bank Snow has a problem with is the bank of his
conscience--it is full and he needs to escape.

The opposite of Karl Rove. Rove loves what is going on and is laughing all the way to the bank to cash his kickbacks from Halliburton. Snow knows what is going on and it is eating him alive--which is propably the psych-sematic cause of his cancer.
